Police have released surveillance video from a robbery at a Windsor Subway location.

On Friday, August 12th at approximately 9:30pm, Windsor Police were dispatched to robbery at a Subway restaurant located in the 4600 block of Wyandotte Street East.

Police say a male suspect entered the store and approached the employee at the cash register and asked to provide him change for a dollar. When the employee opened the cash register the suspect quickly reached over the counter and attempted to take the cash tray. The employee was able to prevent the suspect from taking the cash tray but he managed to take a small amount of cash. The suspect quickly left the store and was last seen running west on Wyandotte Street on the north side of the street. Police are asking to review the video and call us with any information.

The suspect is described as a white male, pale complexion, 40 years old, 5’7, slim build, short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt, baseball hat and dark shorts.
