Road Construction You Should Know About This Week

Here is a look at road construction projects in the City of Windsor this week. Each Sunday we will provide an updated list of the current projects underway and their expected completion dates.

Wyandotte Street East:
Will be restricted to one lane in each direction between Pillette Road and Strabane Avenue for resurfacing until August 18th.

Tecumseh Road East:
Lane restrictions will be in place on westbound Tecumseh Road East from Windsor Avenue to Dufferin Place due to catch basin and sewer repairs until August 17th,

Montreuil Avenue:
Will be closed from Riverside Drive East to dead end, for road reconstruction until August 15th.

Ironwood Drive and Sprucewood Avenue:
Will be closed between Maplewood Drive and Cherry Blossom Drive and Sprucewood Avenue will be closed between Cherry Blossom Drive and Ojibway Parkway for sewer rehabilitation until August 18th.

Lillian Avenue:
Will be closed from north of Ottawa Street to South of Erie Street East for road work until September 9th.

Randolph Avenue:
Will be closed from Tecumseh Road West to Algonquin for road reconstruction until August 31st.

St. John Street:
From Clairview Street to Menard Street will experience traffic restrictions for sewer, water main and road reconstruction until October 31st.

Victoria Avenue:
Will be closed from Wyandotte Street West to Erie Street West for water main construction until August 28th.

E.C. Row Expressway:
Lane restrictions will take place in the westbound lanes between Central Avenue and Walker Road as part of the bridge repair project at the CNR and Walker Road structures until October 28th.

Marentette, Vimy and Lens Avenues:
Will have traffic restrictions in place for sewer, watermain and road rehabilitation until December 16th.

Wyandotte Street East:
Will be closed from Strabane Avenue to Cadillac Street for water main construction until August 26th.

Belleview Avenue:
Will be closed for water main construction from Wyandotte Street East to Riverside Drive East until August 26th.

Mercer Street:
From Erie Street East to Giles Boulevard East will be closed for water main construction until August 12th.

Queen Street:
From Prince Road to South Street and Watkins Street from Queen Street to King Street will be under construction for sewer relining and road rehabilitation until September 1st.
