They say that a male and a female were walking south on Goyeau Street in the area of Elliott Street East when they were approached from behind by an unknown male. They told police that the male threw him to the ground, held a knife to him and demanded cash. The male advised that he didn’t have anything and the suspect turned his attention to the female. The suspect demanded her purse and she complied. The suspect then fled north on Goyeau Street.
