A 27-year-old Windsor man suffered a serious head injury after being struck in the head by a skateboard Saturday evening.

Police say around 11:30pm the victim was involved in a verbal argument with two unknown males in the 300 block of Ouellette Avenue.

The verbal argument escalated into a physical confrontation and at some point the 27-year-old male victim was struck in the head by a skateboard.

The victim was transported to Detroit hospital with a serious head injury and he remains in hospital in stable condition.

Police located the two suspects and placed them under arrest.

Charged with aggravated assault are 20-year-old Nathaniel Hornick and 22-year-old Ivory Springer, both of Windsor.
