Habitat for Humanity Windsor-Essex is set to break ground for Build 61 — this time in Leamington.

“This continues our expansion to serve the families and communities of South Essex” states Mike Van der Vlist, Executive Director, HFHWE. “From our 2015 build in Cottam, to the Leamington office opening in 2015, the opening of the ReStore earlier this year, and now building, it is only with the support of the communities that we can grow and in turn assist families into home ownership.” Van der Vlist adds.

The ceremony will be held 10am Saturday August 20th 2016 at HFHWE’s building lot, located at 14 Rickway Drive in Leamington.

Work on the raised ranch is scheduled to begin the week following the groundbreaking ceremony.

If you are interested in volunteering for the build, submitting a corporate team or sponsoring a lunch or snack for our Build Volunteers, you can contact Habitat for Humanity Windsor-Essex at 519-969-3762 ext. 229 or by email: [email protected]
