This Saturday, the first Asian Culture Festival will be held on the parking lot of Multifood Supermarket on 799 Crawford Avenue.

Community groups representing a cross-section of Asian cultures will present their unique ethnic traditions for the broader public to see.

“This will be a wonderful chance to better understand the distinct and multicultural qualities of the nationalities under the Asian umbrella,” said Border Business Club President, Greg Zhang.  “We will have several Asian communities setting up displays to highlight their individual cultures.”

“Asia is a large continent and many Canadians may not be aware of the thousands of cultural and linguistic populations within its borders,” said Sushil Jain, President of the South Asian Centre of Windsor.  “Visitors will have an opportunity to learn more about Asia and the communities and people representing the Asian diaspora who are now living in the Windsor-Essex area.”

It runs from 10am to 4pm.
