Windsor Police are looking to identify a suspect in a convenience store robbery.

Police say the robbery happened around 7:45pm on Sunday, August 28th 2016 at a convenience store located in the 4000 block of Tecumseh Road East.

They say that a male suspect entered the store and approached the employee at the front counter. The suspect held out a knife toward the employee and demanded cash.

The employee opened the cash register and while the suspect was grabbing the money, he jumped the front counter and attempted to lock the suspect inside. The suspect forced open the door and fled the scene. He was last seen running westbound towards George Avenue on the north side of Tecumseh Road East.

He is described as a white male, around 25 years old, with short light brown hair. He was last seen wearing a light blue Under Armour hoodie, dark pants, dark shoes, and had a dark backpack.
