LaSalle Police are investigating a theft from the Amour Fragrances Boutique at the Windsor Crossing Outlet Mall.

Police say that a male suspect was caught on surveillance video going behind the checkout counter and opening the cash register. $400 was reported to be missing.

They say that it appears that the store clerk may have been distracted during the theft by a female shopper.

Anyone with information is asked to call LaSalle Police or Crime Stoppers.
