Melissa Bishop and Noelle Montcalm

University of Windsor Alumni Noelle Montcalm, Melissa Bishop and Miah-Marie Langlois are all local athletes heading to the Olympics this year, and were celebrated in the Dennis Fairall Fieldhouse before they make their departure. Miah-Marie Langlois has already left to practise with her team, but Noelle Montcalm and Melissa Bishop attended this ceremony for them, where they were given kind wishes and wished good luck from the Lancer community, friends, family and fans.

Canadian flags were set up for people to sign and send off with the local Olympians as the public filled the Dennis Fairall Fieldhouse and crowded the stadium.

Miah-Marie Langlois sent a message to her fans since she could not attend the sending-off.
