Police have arrested a woman after a Mac’s convenience store was robbed.

On Sunday July 24th, police were dispatched to the Mac’s Convenience located in the 4600 block of Seminole Street.

Police say at approximately 10:00pm a female suspect entered the store, demanded money and cigarettes and allegedly had a firearm tucked under her arm pointing at the clerk. The suspect took a quantity of cash and cigarettes and quickly left the store and was last seen running westbound on Seminole Street.

The suspect was described as a white female, 50 years, 5’5, 150lbs, blonde hair, last seen wearing a blue hat, black/blue v-neck t-shirt, black yoga pants, sandals.

Officers received information from the public and were able to confirm the identity of the suspect believed to be responsible for the robbery.

At around 9am, Tuesday, officers located the suspect in the 3400 block of Howard and placed her under arrest.

A 50 year old female from Windsor will be charged with robbery with a firearm.
