Windsor Corporate Challenge Raises Over $118,900 For Local Charity

Last Saturday,over 900 participants, volunteers and Ronald McDonald House families came together at the Vollmer Culture and Recreation Complex for the fifth annual Windsor Corporate Challenge.

Over 50 business took part in one-day “FUNraiser” in support of the Ronald McDonald House Windsor and raised $118,940.38.

“Every year I am overwhelmed by the dedication and generosity of teams when it comes to fundraising. Every participant makes it a priority to bring in large donations for the selected charity,” says Meighen Nehme, Founder of Windsor Corporate Challenge and President and CEO of The Job Shoppe. “This year was no different from past years. Our teams came through and raised an impressive amount for the new Ronald McDonald House Windsor. These funds will allow them to continue their important work and help give sick children what they need most … their families.”

While team TD Cruzers was the winner of the 2016 Windsor Corporate Challenge, many other teams proved themselves in other areas. The top fundraising teams were Integrity Tool and Mold Inc. followed by Caesars Windsor, Accucaps Industries LTD and Valiant. The top individual fundraisers included Dino DeSantis (Integrity Tool and Mold Inc.), Kelsey Herceg (Integrity Tool and Mold Inc.) and Nicole Gerard (Accucaps Industries LTD). Reko International Group INC. was the winner of the team spirit award.
