Police are investigating after an elderly woman was tricked into having her golden necklace stolen.

On Tuesday June 7th at approximately 11:30am the 85 year old female victim was walking down the sidewalk in the 3000 block of Tyler Court when a dark blue SUV pulled up next to her.

Two females, both in their 50s, got out of the vehicle and approached her on the sidewalk.

The suspects engaged in conversation with the victim and took off her gold necklace and replaced it with a fake gold necklace.
