Amherstburg Police are investigating a daytime break and enter.

Police say it took place between 11:30am and 2:30pm on June 8th on Clubview in the Point West Subdivision. A large quantity of valuables were stolen.

Investigators believe the suspects plan their break and enters by driving around the neighborhood in a vehicle and looking for the opportunity to break in.

Police say the suspects are looking for the following before striking: day light hours, open garage door or front door, residents in their yard doing yard work, residents just leaving.

They say the suspects may approach the door with pamphlets, may drive up and down the street several times, may park on the for extended periods of time while in their vehicles, and may suspiciously walk up and down the street or stand in one location for extended times.

Anyone that may have surveillance equipment in the neighborhood or may have witnessed any suspicious activity is asked to contact the Amherstburg Police Service at 519-736-3622.
