The Town of Amherstburg hosts Canada Day Celebrations at Fort Malden National Historic Site.

The day starts with the popular 5 km Canada D’eh run in downtown Amherstburg at 9am.

The day continues with free activities at Fort Malden all day long including a birds of prey show, falconry meet and greet, pony rides, live entertainment, get a tattoo or fire a musket like the soldiers did 200 years ago and so much more.

Also back is the Amherstburg Ice Cream Festival at Toddy Jones Park where the splash pad will be open along with lots of other interactive fun.

The night is topped off with a big bang of fireworks along the shoreline at approximately 10pm.
