Mayor Ken Antaya and Deputy Mayor Marc Bondy will lead participants on a walk at the Vollmer Culture and Recreation Complex on Tuesday as the town celebrates the County Wide Active Transportation System (CWATS), and Essex County’s 20-year commitment to active transportation: “Walk. Ride. County Wide”.

The event also supports LaSalle’s community vision of an active, healthy and caring community. Participants can walk or ride a bicycle along a designated route. It is expected that both the walking route and bicycle route will take about 20 minutes to complete. There will be giveaways and a chance to win a grand prize.

The event takes place at 12:30pm at the Vollmer Culture and Recreation Complex Outdoor Pavilion.
