The opt-out period in the class action lawsuit relating to bingo/lottery licensing feed ended as of midnight on May 15, 2016.
In a joint press release, the City of Windsor and Town of Tecumseh say that they are “pleased at the high level of community engagement and discussion that has occurred about the important issues associated with the lawsuit”.
Various issues concerning the opt-out period remain before the courts and will be addressed by the parties in that forum in the coming weeks.
