St. Clair College continues to be student’s number one choice in satisfaction with the knowledge and skills and our facilities and services for the fifth year in a row, and is the number one college for student satisfaction in southwestern Ontario including the five Toronto colleges.

St. Clair College President, Patti France is thrilled with the results and notes that in a tough job market, St. Clair College is still performing well.

“Province-wide, the Graduate Employment Rate has dipped slightly during the past few years, indicating the difficulties that still exist in Ontario’s economy,” she observed. “But St. Clair’s numbers – in the toughest job-market in the entire country – have remained at a very healthy level, exceeding the provincial average,” said France.

The data released by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities also shows that St. Clair College exceeded the provincial average on the four main categories that make up the ratings including Student Satisfaction (80% compared to the provincial average of 79.3%); Graduate Satisfaction (81.8% compared to the provincial average of 81.4%); Graduate Employment (85.8% compared to the provincial average of 85.1%); and Employer Satisfaction (92.2% compared to the provincial average of 90.4%).

The College outperformed last year’s results as well, all adding up to very positive signs for students coming to college this fall. “We’re thrilled that so many students place their faith in us, and that their faith is rewarded. We are helping them to secure jobs and launch careers in what is still a very constrained job market,” France said.
