Habitat for Humanity Windsor-Essex had their ground breaking ceremony for their 60th build project Saturday morning.

Many sponsors and representatives, Mayor Drew Dilkens among them, and the sponsor family of the project attended and spoke to celebrate this tremendous achievement. This marks the 60th build project by Windsor-Essex Habitat for Humanity since coming to the area in 1994.

Work on the raised ranch style home is scheduled to begin immediately following the groundbreaking ceremony. If you are interested in volunteering for the build, submitting a corporate team or sponsoring a lunch or snack for our Build Volunteers, you can contact Habitat for Humanity Windsor-Essex at 519-969-3762 ext. 229 or by email: [email protected].

Mayor Drew Dilkens stands with sponsor family Charmaine, her son Jayden, and Habitat for Humanity board chair Jeremy.
