Police are investigating after a man was attacked and robbed around 10pm on Friday February 5th at a parking lot in the area of the 1300 block of Pelletier Street.

Officers met with the 46 year old male who advised that he was assaulted and robbed in the parking lot. He told police that he was walking through the lot when he was approached by two unknown male suspects.

Police say one of the suspects asked if he was a certain person and the second suspect allegedly approached him from behind and assaulted him while wearing brass knuckles. The victim stated that he tried to get up but the suspect shocked him with a taser like device in the shape of a stick.

While he was on the pavement one of the suspects took his wallet and other personal belongings. The victim sustained injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.

The suspects are described as white males, approximately 5’11”, with medium builds. They fled the scene westbound on Pelletier in a newer style grey Jeep Cherokee.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Windsor Police at 519-255-6700 ext. 4305, or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 519-258-8477 (TIPS).
