A Comber plumber has been charged after an unusual incident last month.

Chatham-Kent Police say that on January 13th, 2016 a Tilbury woman contacted Ron Reaume’s Plumbing after she had no hot water in her home.

They say that Ron Reaume himself attended the home and while in the presence of the homeowner he allegedly stripped down naked and put his overalls on. Upon completing the job, the man undressed again inside the home, taking his overalls off and putting his clothes back on.

The man gave the woman a bill and left the residence.

Wednesday night, Ron Reaume, 55 years, of Lakeshore Road in Comber was arrested and charged with mischief. He was released pending a future court date of March 1st, 2016.

Chatham-Kent Police Service believe that this may not have been the first time that Reaume has displayed this behaviour while in the presence of a customer. Anyone with information is asked contact Constable Jodie Foster at [email protected] or 519-436-6600 extension #83012. Anonymous callers may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) and may be eligible for a cash reward.
