LaSalle Police are looking to locate the owner of these gold clubs.

Police say that back on Wednesday, February 17th, a silver Dodge Intrepid was seen in the area of Lansdowne around 4:30am. An alert resident noticed that a male was walking along the street and checking car doors to see if they were open, while the car was following him at a slow pace.

The witness called in the plate number of the vehicle, and police officers converged in the area, but the vehicle and the two men in it had already left.

Officers followed up with the owner who lives in Windsor, and the owner told police that his vehicle had been stolen.

On Monday, officers from Windsor Police Service located the stolen car and found the set of golf clubs shown here.

Police say that since the car had been in LaSalle, the golf clubs may have been stolen from a home in the town.

If the golf bag belongs to you or someone you know, you are asked to call police at 519-969-5210.
