Two people were changed with drunk driving in the county this past weekend.

The first was on January 23rd when they pulled over an erratic driver around 11:45pm at the intersection of Cherry Lane and Bruce Avenue in Leamington.

Officers spoke to the driver of the vehicle who exhibited signs of impairment.  He was arrested at the scene.

Richard Bielz age 53 of Leamington was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and exceed 80 milligrams blood alcohol content. He will appear in court on February 18th, 2016.

The second took place on January 25th, 2016, police pulled over a vehicle on Highway 3 in Lakeshore around 2am for having a burned out headlight.

Officers spoke to the female driver of the white Honda who exhibited signs of impairment.  She was issued a roadside test which she failed.  She was arrested at the scene

Miranda Rebelo, age 23 of Leamington was charged with exceed 80 milligrams blood alcohol content.  She will appear in court on February 4th, 2016.
