The Windsor/Essex Hospitals Foundation launched its annual Hats On For Healthcare event Wednesday morning at St. Clair College for the Applied Arts and Technology today.

This years event will support the Mental Health Program at the Ouellette Campus of Windsor Regional Hospital.

Now in its 7th year, Hats On For Healthcare has raised more than $150,000 for programs and services at Windsor Regional Hospital. The concept is simple. For a ‘toonie; retailers, companies, service clubs, schools and individuals can take part where their employees can wear a hat in support of healthcare on March 2nd.

Co-Chair of Hats On For Healthcare, Elaine Snaden stated, “It is so simple to participate by just providing a $2 donation for the opportunity to wear a hat on the official Hats On For Healthcare Day, taking place on March 2nd, 2016.”
