Hackforge invites Windsorites to write their first line of code this Saturday.

From 9am to 9pm anyone can drop by their space located at 255 Ouellette Avenue and sit with a programmer at a computer and type out a few instructions in a coding language.

Organizers say this event aims to expose those outside the tech industry to the vast world of computer science. The goal is to demystify coding, meet programmers, and give some insight into how programming helps builds the world around us. For those looking to learn more, the day will also offer an Intro to HTML class for women and Hands-on With Ruby on Rails class.

This event is free and family friendly.
