Two Windsor men are facing several charges after a vehicle stop on Thursday.

Police say that officers were on routine patrol in the area of McDougall Avenue and Wyandotte Street East around 11:30pm when they observed a vehicle driving erratically.

The vehicle was stopped and officers observed a knife on the driver’s seat. The 27-year-old driver was also found to be in possession of a black Beretta pellet gun in his waistband. The driver was placed under arrest for weapons dangerous. The 34-year-old passenger was also allegedly breaching his curfew conditions and was also subsequently arrested.

Officers also located and seized seven fentynal patches, 8 percocets, 24.2grams of crack cocaine and 5 grams of cocaine and $1,870 in cash. The total value of the drugs seized was approximately $5,760.

Devon Boe, a 27-year-old male from Windsor is charged with weapons dangerous, possess a firearm while prohibited, possession of fentanyl for trafficking, possession of cocaine for trafficking, possession of crack cocaine for trafficking and possession of oxycodone for trafficking and breach of recognizance.

Christopher Taylor, a 34-year-old male from Windsor is charged with possession of fentanyl for trafficking, possession of cocaine for trafficking and breach of recognizance.
