A victim is being uncooperative with police after gunshots were fired on College Avenue early this morning.

Police were called around 6:30am to an apartment in the 1900 block of College after getting reports of a loud argument and gunshots.

Witnesses saw two males leaving the scene and one of them possibly had a handgun.

Officers arrived and found that everyone had left.

Investigation revealed that there was a disturbance in the apartment with fresh blood stains and a spent bullet casing.

While on scene officers learned that a victim was at Hotel Dieu with non-life threatening stab wounds. Officers spoke to the male victim but he was uncooperative with the investigation.

The investigation is ongoing and police are asking anyone with information to call 519-255-6700 ext. 4305 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 519-258-8477 (TIPS).
