Windsor Police are sending out a warning about counterfeit America money.

On Monday police say they were called to a business in the 1600 block of Tecumseh Road East where a bag containing a number of counterfeit American $100 bills was located in the alley nearby.   Officers seized the bag and also located more bills in the alley where it was originally located.

They say there was a total of 110 counterfeit American $100 bills.

The Windsor Police Financial Crimes unit has also been receiving a number of complaints involving counterfeit $50 American bills.
