Local New Home Building Starts Low In November, But Year To Date Still High

The Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation says housing starts for the Windsor area went down in November compared to November, 2014, one year ago.
This past November there were a total of 62 new starts compared to 101, one year ago.
Overall, housing starts have been up all year compared with 2014.
Builders have started 902 new homes in Windsor this year, compared with 752 in 2014.
That’s a year over year increase of 20%.
