A Windsor man has been arrested for alleged fraud.

Police say that their investigation began in March 2015 after they received several fraud related complaints.

They say that the suspect claimed to be a partner of a business that made financial investments that averaged yields between 10% and 12%

The suspect gained the trust of victims and convinced them to invest their money. Police have identified five victims who collectively gave the suspect over one million dollars to invest. The investigation has shown that the funds were never invested by the suspect.

On November 2nd, they arrested and charged 53-year-old Emile El Haddad with fraud over $5,000.
