Canadians choose new Members of Parliament in Windsor-Tecumseh and Essex on Monday.

NDP member Cheryl Hardcastle captured the open riding of Windsor-Tecumseh, previously vacated by NDP Joe Comartin.

Brian Masse was re-elected in Windsor West by a wide margin.

Tracey Ramsey, NDP, defeated long standing Conservative Jeff Watson in Essex.

And Dave Van Kesteren held onto his seat in Chatham-Kent-Leamington, but not after a close battle against Liberal Katie Omstead.
