On Thursday October 29th, 2015 the Windsor Police Service Drug and Gun Enforcement Unit was involved in a drug investigation. At approximately 1:30pm police stopped a gold Dodge Journey in the area of Division and Walker Road. The 53-year-old male driver was arrested without incident and he was allegedly found in possession of a quantity of fentanyl patches and a quantity of cash. A 39-year-old male passenger was also arrested and found to be in possession of a small quantity of methamphetamine.

As part of the investigation a search warrant was executed at a residence in the first 100 block of Bonita. Officers searched the residence and shed and located 96 fentanyl patches, 63.7 grams of cannabis marihuana, 25 hydromorphone capsule, 81 percocet pablets, 22 nabilone capsules, 2ml liquid fentanyl, 1.7grams of methamphetamine. The estimated value of the drugs seized is just over $26,000. A 48-year-old female was placed under arrest within the residence and released. She will be summons on drug related charges.

Charlie Burkoski a 53-year-old male is charged with possession of fentanyl for trafficking, possession of hydromorphone for trafficking, possession of oxycodone for trafficking, possession of marihuana for trafficking, possession of methamphetamine for trafficking, and possession of cannabis marihuana (nabilone) for trafficking.

A 39-year-old male is charged with possession of methamphetamine. He was released on a promise to appear.
