A new indoor park has opened in the city for you and your furry friend.

Animal Antics Behaviour Centre includes an indoor dog park, a doggy daycare, plus training and behaviour modification for dogs and cats.

The centre is 1500 square feet of temperature controlled free space for dogs to run off leash and interact with each other, and while the dogs have their fun, there is a self-serve coffee bar on site for their humans.

The Doggy Daycare is an additional 1500 square feet of both indoor and outdoor play space, in addition to a separate area for small dogs.

Owner and behaviourist Kelly French has also incorporated a separate area known as the Party Room for dogs who are not well socialized and who may just want a little free time to run off leash or catch a ball with their owner. This private space is 1000 square feet and can be rented by the hour for private play groups and doggy birthday parties, in addition to those dogs who would rather play alone. Agility equipment and other fun dog sports will be available for dogs and their owners to use in both the Party Room and the Dog Park.

They also have plans for a variety of special and seasonal events including a Halloween Party, Santa photos, Date Nights (where the daycare will stay open late so couples and families can enjoy dinner and a movie while their dog gets to play) and Must Love Dogs Singles Nights, to name a few of the fun events Animal Antics will hold.

You can find them at 2465 McDougall Street.  For detailed hours and more information, check out their website.
