Two Windsor men have been charged and four handguns have been recovered after a drugs and guns investigation.
On Monday September 14th around 3:45pm, the Windsor Police Drugs and Guns Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in the city of Windsor.
Two males were placed under arrest and officers located a quantity of drugs and guns within the residence.
Police seized three cannabis marijuana plants, 13.2 grams of cannabis marijuana, a Walther handgun, a Colt handgun, an Euskaro handgun, a Stevens handgun and 128 rounds of ammunition.
A 55-year-old man from Windsor is charged with unlawful production of cannabis marijuana, possession of cannabis marijuana, four counts of unlicenced person possessing an unregistered firearm, possessing an unloaded regulated firearm, four counts of improper storage of firearms, and possession of a handgun with accessible ammunition.
A 52-year-old male from Windsor is charged with unlawful production of cannabis marijuana and possession of marijuana.
Police have not released the names of those charged.
