A Windsor man is facing several changes after a bomb threat at a youth facility in Middlesex County.

OPP say that at 5:59am Wednesday, the facility received two phone calls reporting a bomb had been placed at four locations in the building..

While police investigated the facility was locked down, but no suspicious packages were located.

The Middlesex County OPP, assisted by the Essex County OPP, and Windsor Police investigate the incident.

As a result of the police investigation, 61-year-old Lawrence Shanfield, from Windsor was arrested, and has been charged with two counts of uttering threats – cause death or bodily harm.

The accused was released from police custody by way of a promise to appear, and is scheduled to appear in a London court on October 29th.
