Road Construction You Should Know About This Week

Here is a look at new and on going road construction work in the City of Windsor. This week one new road project got underway. Updates are posted each Sunday afternoon.

New This Week:

Villaire Avenue:
from Raymond Avenue to the CNR tracks- south of Edgar Street will be closed for sewer, watermain and road construction until December 31st.

On Going:

Rossini Boulevard:
Will be closed from Seminole Street north to the CN Tracks for storm, sanitary sewers, watermain and repaving until December 1st.

Metcalfe Street:
will be closed from the alley west of Rossini to alley east of Rossini for road repaving until December 1st.

Watkins Street:

From King Street to Bloomfield Road will be under construction for sewer, watermain and road rehabilitation until November 15th.

King Street:
Will be under construction from Prince Road to South Street for sewer, watermain and road rehabilitation until November 15th.

Devonshire Road:
Will be closed from Riverside Drive East to Brant Street for crosswalk construction and road paving at the Devonshire Road & Assumption intersection until September 11th.

Jos St. Louis Avenue:
Will be closed between Rose Street south to the cul-de-sac for sewer, road and watermain reconstruction until December 15th.

McDougall Street:
From Logan Street to the ETR Railway will be closed for construction of watermain, sanitary sewers and storm sewers until October 9th.

Wyandotte Street East:
Will be reduced to one lane in each direction between George Avenue and Raymo Road for watermain construction until October 30th.

Wyandotte Street West:
Will experience lane restrictions from Caron Avenue to Ouellette Avenue for watermain construction until September 11th.

Pillette Road:
Will be restricted to local traffic only, from north of Tecumseh Road East to south side of Seminole Street, for watermain construction until October 30th.

Edward Avenue:
Will be closed from Wyandotte Street East to Edgar Street for sewer, watermain and road rehabilitation until September 15th.

Fairview Avenue:
Will be closed from Edgar Street to St. Rose Avenue for construction of watermain, sanitary and storm sewers until September 25th.

Church Street:
Will be restricted to local traffic from Wyandotte Street West to Caroline Street for watermain construction until September 11th.

E.C. Row Expressway:
Eastbound will be restricted to one lane between Walker Road & Central Avenue for bridge repairs until September 30th.

Elm Street:
Will be closed from Giles Boulevard West to Tecumseh Road West will be closed for sewer, watermain and road construction until September 25th.

Erie Street West:
Will be closed from Wellington Avenue to Crawford Avenue) for sewer, watermain and road construction until September 25th.
