The Ontario Association of Paramedic Chiefs are holding their annual conference and business meeting this week at Caesars Windsor.

The association includes representatives from every designated delivery agent in the province and some first nations.

Part of the conference is the awards gala where nearly 200 paramedics will be recognized for meritorious service, individual bravery, both on and off duty and unselfish humanitarian efforts.

Lt. General Richard Rohmer serves as the first OAPC Honourary Chief and will be on hand to present medals on behalf of the Governor General. The evening event attracts over 600 family, friends and well‐wishers.

“Essex Windsor EMS is both excited and honoured to be hostinthe Province’s Paramedic leaders in our region. We have developed and planned an
educational, informative and relaxing conference that showcases not only EMS advancement but the Windsor Essex Region,” said Chief Bruce Krauter.
