A Windsor man has been arrested after an FBI investigation into child pornography.

On August 27th an FBI agent in the United States provided members of the Windsor Police Internet Child Exploitation Unit with information pertaining to a child pornography suspect in the Windsor area.

Investigators conducted an investigation that eventually led to a search warrant being executed at a residence in the 1600 block of Southdale Drive on September 10th.

Police arrested Omar Smith, 23, and seized his computer. He’s charged with unlawful possession of child pornography, unlawfully accessing child pornography and unlawfully making child pornography available.
