Windsor Police are investigating after a car ran over the entrance sign to the Queen Elizabeth II Sunken Gardens at Jackson Park.

Firefighters and EMS were called to the park’s entrance driveway near Tecumseh Road East and Windsor Avenue around 6:25pm.

A red Honda had crashed into the wood sign, causing it to topple over.

No injuries are reported.

The circumstances of the crash are not yet known.
