This weekend the far west end of Windsor will come alive as thousand of students descend on the UWindsor campus.

Windsor Welcome Week kicks off Sunday as hundreds of students move into one of the four on campus residence buildings starting at 8am. After move in and floor meetings pasta will be served in the quad and an outdoor movie will be shown.

Once students are setting in their homes for the next eight months, the week features something for everyone.

Labour Day Monday features water wars, a beach party and free BBQ and a scavenger hunt.

Classes get going on Tuesday this year, but that doesn’t mean the fun has to stop. There will be something to do every day including a welcoming barbecue sponsored by the President’s Office, football and soccer games, tailgate and beach parties, scavenger hunts, and club activities

Welcome week ends on Saturday with the main event. The UWSA Coming Home Music Festival, Life in Colour.
