Two young offenders have been arrested and charged after being caught fleeing from a stolen vehicle in Essex on August 27th.

OPP say that it was around 10am they received reports of a vehicle being driven erratically in Essex.

After a short pursuit that was called off, police then located the truck and arrested a 16-year-old male and a 16-year-old female who were running from the vehicle.

The male has been charged with dangerous driving, evading police, fail to comply with a probation order, mischief over $5,000, theft over $5,000, and possession of stolen property over $5,000.

The female has been charged with theft over $5,000, mischief over $5,000, possession of stolen property over $5,000, and dangerous driving.

Both were held in custody and are appearing in court today.

The vehicle, a 2009 Ford F-150 was reported stolen in Windsor early in the day.
