Transit Windsor Offering Advanced Tunnel Tickets For Big Detroit Events

With many big events happening in Detorit, Transit Windsor wants you to be prepared to cross.

Upcoming events include:

•Detroit Lions at Ford Field on August 13th and September 3rd

•Kenney Chesney at Ford Field on August 22nd

•One Direction at Ford Field on August 29th

•AC/DC at Ford Field on September 8th

•Zac Brown Band at Comerica Park on September 12th

Since any of these events draw large crowds, Transit Windsor suggests that those attending to buy tickets in advance at one of the many sales outlets throughout Windsor.  For a list of sales outlets visit their website.

Customers may still purchase their tickets at Windsor International Transit Terminal on event day or they may choose to pay cash directly on the bus. The tunnel bus is $4.50 each way and may be paid in either Canadian or American funds; however, no currency exchange is given.

Service to the above special events begins 2.5 hours prior to kickoff or start of the concert. Fans are dropped off at Ford Field or Comerica Park. Return service, from the same location you disembarked, starts immediately following the event, up to 60 minutes after the end of the game or concert.
