A Tecumseh woman is facing several charges after a traffic stop on Friday.

OPP say that around noon they stopped a Saturn on Highway 401 eastbound near Communication Road for speeding.

While the officer was speaking with the driver, it was determined that she had been consuming alcoholic beverages.

Police say she was in possession of suspected Tylenol 3 tablets that were not prescribed to her.

Further tests indicated that she was over the legal limit.

45-year-old Suzanne Thibodeau is charged with driving with more than 80 mgs. of alcohol in blood, possession of a schedule iii substance and speeding.

She will appear in a Chatham court on October 8th, 2015.
