Amherstburg Police and Windsor Police have arrested an Amherstburg man on drug charges.
On Thursday August 27th, Amherstburg Police, assisted by the Provincial Anti-Violence Intervention Strategy, which includes members of the Windsor Police Service, arrested a man in Amherstburg as a result of an investigation.
Officers executed a search warrant in the 200 block of Brock Street in the Town of Amherstburg.
A 48 year old Amherstburg man was arrested without incident. Officers involved in the investigation discovered 21 cannabis marijuana plants, 528.9 grams of cannabis marijuana shake, and 6 grams of cannabis resin.
Police say the total street value of the seized drugs is $23,884.00.
The 48 year old Amherstburg man was charged with unlawfully producing cannabis marijuana, possession of cannabis marijuana, and unlawfully producing cannabis resin.
