Windsor Police have charged one person after several break and enters.

Police says that around 11:45am Tuesday they were called to a residence located in the 1200 block of Victoria Avenue for a break and enter in progress.

They say that when the resident arrived at home he found an unknown male standing on his front porch. When he approached  the suspect ran into his residence and locked the door behind him.  He opened the door with his key and saw that some of his belongings were moved around and out of place.

He called police, but when they arrived the suspect had already left the residence.  Police say that they also found three other units were ransacked from the break and enter.

Police were able to locate a male a short distance away that matched the description and he was placed under arrest. The suspect was allegedly found to be in possession of some items that belonged to some of the residents and a small quantity of cocaine.

Bradley Walker, a 26-year-old male of Windsor is charged with three counts of break and enter, two counts of possession of stolen property and possession of cocaine.
