Leamington’s H.J. Heinz Arena is getting a new name.

Highbury Canco Corporation has pledged $140,000 over the next seven years to the Town of Leamington for the naming rights of the main bowl arena located inside the Leamington Kinsmen Recreation Complex.

Sam Diab, President and Co-Owner of HCC commented, “We see this as an opportunity to re-affirm our commitment to the community and our employees, and we are confident our contribution will improve the experience of those who visit the Leamington Kinsmen Recreation Complex.”

The sponsorship will also enhance the visitor experience at the Leamington Kinsmen Recreation Complex in the way of upgraded Wi-Fi throughout the facility, full colour LED exterior signage, upgraded sound system in the weight room, and new weight room and lobby televisions. Leamington’s Mayor John Paterson was pleased to hear of the generous pledge and commented, “It’s these types of strong partnerships with our local corporate businesses that ensure the ongoing growth of our community, making Leamington a better place to live, work and play.”
