Windsor Police are looking to identify a man who they believe may be responsible for a number of thefts across Ontario.

Officers were called to two separate Real Canadian Superstore locations on Sunday August 16th in relation to theft reports that occurred the previous evening.

Police say investigation revealed that a male suspect went to the Real Canadian Superstore in the 4300 block of Walker Road at approximately 9:15pm and the other Real Canadian Superstore located in the 2400 block of Dougall Avenue approximately one hour later. In both circumstances the man was captured on video breaking into a cash register when no employees were around.

In both incidents he left the store with a small quantity of cash.

Police say they believe that the same man may be responsible for similar thefts across the province at different department stores.
