Tunnel Bus Stops Changed For Wednesday’s Rolling Stones Concert

Hello time traveller!!

The information listed below is likely outdated and has been preserved for archival purposes.

Due to construction and traffic being re-routed on Woodward, Transit Windsor will be changing the drop off and pick up location in Detroit for Wednesday’s Rolling Stones concert.

In addition, Transit Windsor expects a large fan base to attend and this also factors into the bus stop change.

The bus will stop on Gratiot between Saint Antoine and Antietam for passengers to disembark the bus.  When the concert is finished, trace your steps back to the same location to board the bus. The distance from the new stop to Comerica Park is approximately the same as walking from Cobo to Joe Louis.

They say that although it is a little further walk from this stop, the benefit to using the new location far outweighs the distance difference.  By using the new stop, the buses should not be delayed by congestion and be able to transport passengers back to Windsor in a timely fashion.

Passengers will be given a map when boarding the bus downtown.  That map can also be found here.
