Windsor Police have seized a rifle and brass knuckles after a search of a Moy Avenue home on Wednesday.

Just before 7pm, the drugs and guns unit executed a search warrant at the residence in the 600 block of Moy Avenue as part of an investigation.

A male suspect was placed under arrest.

Officers involved in the search located a .22 calibre Lakefield rifle along with two magazines (one loaded with ammunition) as well as a set of brass knuckles. They also seized 5.3 grams of marijuana.

Kamal Bazzi, 37, is charged with possession of firearm with no licence, possession of a prohibited weapon, possession of marijuana, two counts of failure to comply with a condition of judicial release, improper storage of a firearm, possession of a prohibited weapon while prohibited, possession of a firearm while prohibited, and possession of ammunition while prohibited.
