Windsor firefighters battled a small fire at a corner store with attached apartments Saturday evening.

Fire crews were called around 9:15pm to the building on the corner of Tourangeau and Somme Avenue.

When they arrived they found smoke coming from the attic. It took crews about ten minutes to bring it under control.

Investigators say it was accidental caused by unattended BBQ.

Damage was to the rear of building and attic is set at $150,000.

There were no injuries.
