Police are looking to identify a suspect following an after-prom party that turned violent.

Around 1:30am Saturday, police were called to the 9000 block of County Road 42 between Lauzon and Banwell for reports of a large party with under-aged drinking. As police were arriving, a second call came in indicating that someone at the same location was injured and was possibly stabbed.

Officers arrived to a large, poorly lit property with a barn and well over 1000 individuals in attendance. Police say empty alcohol bottles were strewn around the property.

Officers encountered three 18-year-old male victims. One had a cut to the lower right leg, one had cuts to his hand and fingers, and one had a cut to the side of his neck.

Police were given the name of a fourth 18-year-old victim who told friends that he received a laceration to his chest.
He did not report the injury to police and had not sought medical attention.

One of the victims indicated that he was cut with a pocket knife. Police also received information that someone was throwing broken bottles around.

Police say the party was an ‘after prom’ party for two local high schools — but the schools themselves were not responsible for organizing the party.

Police say the suspects are likely not students from either of the schools.

So far, police have not been able to identify any suspects, but say the one suspect was a white or Hispanic male, 18 or 19 years of age, wearing a black or dark blue shirt with an Adidas symbol or name on the front and jeans. He is described as having long black hair and possibly was cut above his right eye.
